Privacy Policy

You can read the standings, fixtures, clubs and player pages without telling us anything. We hold information about you only once you sign in or take part in the league. There is no advertising on this site and no tracking or analytics of any kind.

What we hold about you

  • Your Lichess identity. If you sign in with Lichess we record your Lichess username so we can attach your games to your league profile. We cannot play, message, or act as you on Lichess, and we never see your Lichess password.
  • Your player profile. Your name, the country you play from, your favourite opening and anything you write about yourself. You choose all of it.
  • Applications you send. Which clubs you applied to and the message you sent them. A club’s captain can read the applications sent to their club.
  • Your results. When you play an official league game, the public result of that game is recorded against your profile and counts towards your club.
  • Anything you send us directly. If you apply to be a captain, or open a support ticket, we keep what you wrote and the contact details you gave so we can reply.

What we do with it

Run the league, and nothing else. We use it to work out the standings, show club squads and player pages, let captains manage their squads, and reply to you when you contact us.

We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We do not use it to profile you, and we do not send marketing.

What other people can see

The league is a public competition, so some of what you give us is meant to be seen: your player name, country, club, Lichess username and your results appear on the public site. Your email address and any private message you send us do not.

Cookies

We set only what is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process itself. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers. Signing out clears your session.

Lichess

Official games are played on Lichess, and signing in sends you to lichess.org to approve it. What happens on their site is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one. Your games there are public by the nature of the platform — that is what lets any result in this league be independently verified.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete your account and your personal details. Use the Help & Support page and we will deal with it.

One limit worth being straight about: once a match has been played, the result is part of the league’s competitive record and stays in the standings. We can remove your personal details from it, but we cannot un-play a season.

Signing out ends your session. It does not delete your account — tell us if that is what you want.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we hold or what we do with it, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing this page.
